Design Process
This Restaurant Branding Project for Fiorello’s Pizzeria was a school project for Identify Systems. The goal of the project was to create a restaurant with 4 sub-brands. The restaurant could be anything we wanted. I decided todo an italian pizzeria dedicated to my Nonna who’s last name is Fiorello. It has been my dads dream to open up a restaurant so I chose todo the branding for a restaurant I’d see my father opening. After deciding the type of restaurant and the sub-brands I choose my colors typefaces and begin the branding process of design logos, patterns, and a catalog.

Logos
Fiorello’s Pizzeria has four branches within it. The main logo is the one depicting a wine glass with a tomato and bread. The other four are dedicated to the four branches, togo, food truck, catering, and our kids menu. Each have a black and white version along with a colored version. The colored version of the main logo is for the logo on the building. The black version is specifically for apparel such as aprons, t-shirts for uniforms, the food truck, menus, togo bags, napkins, etc.
Catalog
The catalog of Fiorello’s Pizzeria goes into depth on the history of how the Pizzeria came to be. It is a family owned authentic Italian restaurant in New York. It discusses the process of ordering take out, Along with a break down of the kids menu. The catalog then discusses our catering branch, Nonna’s Catering, and the different packages you can purchase depending on the event. Then it overs the food truck and its completely different menu of americanized Italian street food.
Menus
Main Menu
The main menu features authentic Italian food. There is a range of options starting with appetizers, salads, vegitarian options, main cources in the center, sides, special drinks, and desserts. The back of the Menu features the pizza menu along with a wine menu,
Kids Menu
Bambini’s Panini’s is our kids menus that offers kids sandwiches that are 3inches long. Also offering small portioned deserts and specialty drinks. Alogn with interactive illustrations and a word search.
Food Truck Menu
The food truck menu features a completely different menu than what the main resturant menu offers. This menu is a spin on americanized Italian food. It is made to be street food that is easy for lunch on the go. Then menu also offers specially sides and drinks.
Patterns
Herbs
This pattern is specifically for the aprons and accents on uniform t-shirts.
Tomato Checkers
This pattern is specific to the table clothes in the restaurant. Also the tissue paper in the togo’s and the food truck foods.
Ingredients
This pattern is specifically for wall paper, togo bags, and napkins.
